Do you keep fish with your shrimp? 🦐 🐠

Stinging nettle leaf almost gone.

The shrimp are starting to come to the stinging nettle leaf.

After a week away, I have come home today to find a new batch of babies. These shrimp are amazing. They produce almost 100% true, and so far I have only had to cull a single baby that came out red.

If you have hair algae, get a Blue Neon Crayfish. They genuinely love to eat it 😍

After a week away with the family, it's back at it today. Starting with some feeding, then some tank maintenance 🦐

Hello new member here. I started looking at shrimp when thinking of making a paludarium for vampire crabs, the more I looked the more I started to realize I had much higher expectations then what was reasonable. Thanks to Richard and watching his videos, I decided to try my hands with a 5 gallon shrimp tank since I already have everything I need. I've had many tanks over the years including marine so fish keeping isn't anything new. The paludarium is still my ultimate goal for my large tank with shrimp, vampire crabs and perhaps snails. Until then I might as well start somewhere till my other tank is ready. I may post a bit of a journal to go along with it's progress, that's something I've never done in the past. Thanks

Seen several newborn red cherry shrimp this morning.

I was just doing some tank cleaning and trimming and noticed this shrimp swimming around are these all eggs its carrying or something else going on.

Started a new tank journal: Blue Dream Shrimp Tank. My first blue dream shrimp tank. I added the shrimp on 10/21/2026. Tank was seasoned 7 weeks. Full of life.

I am wondering if my red cherry shrimp really like wood worms, lol
