Beta Help shape our fishkeeping community.
Let’s start with what we should call you.
We use your first name to welcome you. It starts as your display name beside posts and comments; you can change it later. Your username is also public.
Your country stays private. It helps us show adverts relevant to where you live. We don’t ask for your address or precise location. You can change your country in Settings at any time.
Use an email address you can open now.
Your email stays private. We use it for signing in, verification, password recovery and account notifications. You can manage notification preferences in Settings.
This catches typing mistakes so your verification email reaches you.
Make your username yours, and keep your password private.
Your unique public @username helps other members find you. Use 3–30 letters, numbers or underscores, starting with a letter. You’ll sign in with your email address.
A password protects your account. Use at least 8 characters—a long, memorable phrase works well. Never reuse a password from another site.
Type it again so we can check that both versions match before creating your account.
Choose as many as you like, or leave these blank. You can still see everyone’s community posts.
These interests appear on your profile and help members find people with similar interests. They don’t restrict your feed or join you to separate groups. They also help choose relevant Sponsored adverts. You can change them later.
This beta is for adults. Please don’t create an account if you’re under 18.
The terms explain using Finmunity, the guidelines explain how to treat other members, and the privacy notice explains how your information is used. These links open separately so you won’t lose your progress.
When you choose “Create account & send verification email”, we’ll create your account and email you a verification link.
JavaScript is off, so all steps appear together. Complete them above, then create your account.
