I plan to build this community into a genuinely helpful resource that fish and shrimp keepers from around the world can come to share their thoughts, experiences, and problems. Any suggestions on ways we can improve the site would be gratefully received!
Anyone know some good hardy fish that would work well for a tank that's finished cycling but hasn't finished developing biofilm completely? Getting fish for mine tommorow and the plan is to go with neon tetras but I wanted to see if anyone had recommendations.
Been two week since the tank started. Nitrates on 12.5 ammonia and nitrite on 0. Ph at 7.5. Is ready for fish tommrow
Started a new tank journal: The sushi bar. My second tank. Planning on making it my main community tank.
Hi Looking forward to seeing this grow and be very helpful too all new people getting into the hobby. I have just started my own cherry shrimp tank currently have around 12 adults and around 15+ baby shrimp. Have cared for fish in the past and wanted to give shrimp a crack been a challenge as the water here basically comes out the tap as tiny pebbles its that hard. A lot of researching and weeks later i got the tank running been up now for around 3+ months and everyone seems to be happy. All my shrimp food is from Richard's store and they seem to love it tried nettle leaves they didn’t seem interested in it so will try pellets see if they prefer that.
Welcome all. We a brand new, are therefore very small new community. Please say hi and introduce yourself 👍🏻
Hi I'm mew (just using my username on here) I'm excited to start using the site. I'm into shrimp and freshwater or tropical fish such as guppies and neon tetras. Recently got my second tank.
Welcome to the newest fish and shrimp keeping community on the internet. I am glad you have chosen to join us. If you are new here, please introduce yourself. Got a question? Feel free to ask it, and I, or someone else will hopefully have a good answer for you. You can also create either public or private journals about your tanks. Share what's working and what isn't, or just keep a record for yourself so you can refer back in future years.
